Turf Trimming – Trimming the lawn is an essential part of your landscape care. We use Class 5 lawn mowers that will not trim the grass below 1.5”. The debris is super mulched to assist in the decomposition process of the clippings, which prevents the burning and yellowing of the grass. This allows the grass to complete the photosynthesis required to keep the turf lush and efficient. 100% of our clippings are recycled and reused as planting bed covers for the next season. The turf trimming is done weekly, leaving time for new growth. When it is time to re-seed, for a minimal charge, we ensure that the turf areas are aerated and treated to promote new growth with minimal chemical enhancements.

Pruning & Weeding – It is our goal at Water Wise to allow all hedges, trees, privacy screens, vines and bushes to be natural in their growth patterns. It is essential that these plants are not over pruned or cut into odd or asymmetrical shapes. This is very important to us and the overall look of your functional landscape. Also we weed your planters by hand. Pruning and Weeding are both weekly services.

Irrigation System Efficiency – The total efficiency of your water delivery system in your landscape is critical. As your landscape matures and evolves, different trees and plants will require more or less water. The team at Water Wise will adapt and change the flow of your subterranean water delivery system to ensure that each plant and piece of turf is watered efficiently without wasting water. The Coachella Valley Water District believes that a majority of the water used at your home is from your landscape. Over the past 15 years of building and evaluating landscapes, we have never found a landscape where we can’t reduce the water usage by at least 25%. This is savings for you, while lessening your impact on the environment.
